Retired Member Association

After you retire, staying informed and connected to your fellow retirees can be both helpful and rewarding. One way to stay engaged is by joining The Sacramento County Retired Employees Association (SCREA).

SCREA is the recognized retired member association for SCERS members. Membership is open to all retired employees of Sacramento County or any SCERS-covered employer. If you retired from SCERS, you are eligible to join.

SCREA is a nonprofit organization that:

• Advocates on behalf of retired county employees
• Publishes newsletters and member updates
• Hosts meetings, social gatherings, and informational events
• Helps members stay informed about benefits and legislation affecting retirees
• Provides discounts and other supplemental insurance

Membership is voluntary and separate from your SCERS retirement benefit.
