SCERS occasionally issues Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to retain external expertise in areas ranging from audit services to consulting support. These solicitations help the System manage complex projects with transparency, competitive bidding, and professional rigor.

Compensation Consultant

The Sacramento County Employees’ Retirement System (SCERS, the System) is seeking a qualified compensation consulting firm (Consultant) to provide independent, objective compensation consulting services to support SCERS’ Board of Retirement (Board) and executive leadership. The selected Consultant will conduct salary compensation studies for 15 classifications, to ensure compensation practices are competitive and equitable, and provide Compensation Policy support to the Board.

General Investment Consultant

The Sacramento County Employees’ Retirement System (SCERS) is issuing this request for proposals (RFP) to conduct a search for a full-service, retainer-based, non-discretionary, general investment consultant to assist in the continuing evolution and ongoing monitoring of SCERS’ total portfolio. The general investment consultant will act as a fiduciary to SCERS and work closely with SCERS’ Staff, Board, and alternative assets and real estate investment consultants.
