Annual Budget
SCERS publishes an Annual Budget which outlines the expected operating costs of administering the retirement system. The budget includes projected expenses for staff, technology, consulting services, and other operational needs, and it is reviewed and approved by the Board of Retirement each year.
Publishing the budget gives members and employers insight into how much it costs to administer the system and how SCERS is allocating resources to serve members. It reflects SCERS’ commitment to efficiency and prudent use of funds while maintaining high-quality service and governance.
