On February 21, 2023, the SCERS Board adopted the following cost-of-living adjustments (COLA), effective April 1, 2024, for members with retirement dates on or before March 31, 2024:

• 3.5% = Miscellaneous Tier 1 and Safety Tier 1 with a retirement date between 4/1/2023 and 3/31/2024
• 4.0% = Miscellaneous Tier 1 and Safety Tier 1 with a retirement date before 4/1/2023
• 2.0% = Miscellaneous Tiers 3, 4, and 5 and Safety Tiers 2, 3, and 4 with a retirement date on or before 3/31/2024

The 2024 COLA will be included in the April 2024 payment.
