The April 30^th pension payment includes the 2021 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), which can vary based on membership tier and retirement date.

SCERS sent notices to all retirees in late April with information about the adjusted benefit amount.  The notice provides the initial benefit amount at the date of retirement, the dollar value of the cumulative COLA adjustments since retirement, and the new benefit amount as of April 2021.

Due to a production error, some Miscellaneous Tier 2 retirees received a statement with incorrect information.  Corrected notices have been re-sent.
