SCERS is finalizing its analysis of compensation and pay records and is preparing to issue refunds of overpaid contributions in the coming months in accordance with the Alameda decision.

SCERS continues to work on pension adjustments for retired members whose pension calculations included now prohibited payments. Adjustment processing is set to begin this summer. 

Before mailings go out, SCERS is on a mission to obtain current contact information and avoid returned mail delays. Updates are required by May 10, 2022. 

Active County employees can update their contact information by visiting the Employee Self-Service page in MySacCounty and clicking on “Personal Information”.

Deferred and retired members can update their contact information by visiting scers.org/forms-retired-members, completing the “Member’s Affidavit” form, and returning it to SCERS.

Note: If you are currently receiving mail from SCERS, no updates are necessary.
