The swearing-in ceremony for M. Tepa Banda took place during the December meeting of the SCERS Board, where he began to serve as the newly-elected Miscellaneous trustee. Dave Irish, the new Alternate Retiree member of the Board, and Martha Hoover, the existing Retiree trustee, will be sworn in at our January 18th meeting.

Mr. Banda is the director of finance for the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (Regional San) and Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD), and Mr. Irish is a retired director of finance with Sacramento County, who also served on the SCERS Board as ex-officio from 2005- 2010.

The current term for both new Board members expires on December 31, 2025.
