SCERS Office Visitors Must Use Alley Entrance and Sign In

SCERS’ office building (Park Tower) at 980 9th Street has implemented new security protocols. All visitors are now required to sign in at the security desk in the lobby and will be asked to identify what floor and tenant they will be visiting. (SCERS is located on the 19th floor.)

COLA Update

The April 30th pension payment includes the 2021 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), which can vary based on membership tier and retirement date.

SCERS sent notices to all retirees in late April with information about the adjusted benefit amount.  The notice provides the initial benefit amount at the date of retirement, the dollar value of the cumulative COLA adjustments since retirement, and the new benefit amount as of April 2021.
